Determine the current physical condition of your rigging system
A detailed report clearly stating any current life or safety concerns. Within that report there will be recommendations of any maintenance and/or correction of existing rigging problems to align with ANSI / OSHA standards.
Annual rigging inspections for theaters, arenas and performing arts centers are crucial to rigging safety. A rigging inspection from Crew Co. is performed by an ETCP certified technician and is in accordance with all applicable ANSI standards and building codes.
Production Optimization and System Design
Crew Co. provides comprehensive rigging, audio, video, lighting, and control systems optimization. We take your current system and make it work for you. We provide free estimates on system optimization and then provide training for staff/volunteers on a short term contract basis once the optimization process is complete.
If you are at the spot where you are entering into a new construction, a remodel, or a full systems replacement, we can manage all coordination with facilities, architects, engineers, and contractors. Our primary objective is to simplify complexity ensuring you gain a clear understanding of the technology involved in the project.
USITT Rigging Safety Initiative
Safety in your venue or production facility is of utmost importance—especially where students and staff are involved. With safety in mind, the United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT) has a Rigging Safety Initiative where secondary schools can apply for a rigging inspection, with costs being covered by USITT.
Crew Co. is an official USITT safety initiative contractor. You can apply to have an inspection paid for by USITT by filling out the application on their Rigging Safety Initiative page. You or your school do not have to be USITT members to apply.
